Hi there!!! thanks for the comments and the Fav!!!! BOTTOMS UP!!!!!!!!
:iconkagehoshi:
"This is a great line- "when he extended his long white hand to her and cast her a smile of melted moonbeams"! You have some very lovely description, and some well-crafted metaphors here. Just a small point about the character - she's living a terrible tragedy, and yet her diary escape is described: "a place for me where I can forget about the world and forget about the pretentiousness and superficial complexities of life." That seems a little inconsistent - wouldn't she be more anxious to escape from the more serious, immediate problems in her life - like the pain and violence? Other than that slight inconsistency, you've created an evocative vignette. Good job! "

hello there Red.thank you for your comment on my peice,i must say it gives me great pleasure to receive feedback on my work .

about the diary girl, her greatest and immediate problems in her life is all the mind games people play , their superficiality , the wall of pretense that surrounds them all , and the indifference of others to her (her father , her schoolmates etc.) . She's inside a world where all that should matter is who people are (you know , loving and understanding and sincere, because no one around her is), and not what people do(bombs and nuclear weapons and all)..yes you can say she's a little ignorant to world affairs , but she really just wants to pretend it doesn't exist.

Much thanks on your comment .

Btw , i have a butterfly fetish too..i think i have about 6 peices of butterfly jewellery and a pair of butterfly sandals that i wear whenever and wherever i can . Who can blame us ? They're so beautiful and in a class of their own..and their colours and movement are so evocative.

I like photography too. It's like capturing poetry in motion . Though i can say without arrogance i suck at it .

Thanks for the watch and favorite.

There should probably be some witty words of wisdom here, but there aren't.

Totally by chance, I noticed you got a moderator's choice on Elfwood ([link] bwah, I'm a stalker). Good for you, you deserve it. :D

Odd, I almost never go there. I considered joining a while back, but their imposing page of limitations and quiz on it scared me off.
:iconlaughing-red:
Thank you! I was totally surprised when I got an email from them in my inbox - I'd submitted that stuff so freaking long ago! :) They moderate EVERY post, so it takes forever sometimes to get anything up. The community for fantasy writers is better and it makes up for the awkward navigation/commenting system. I sure do miss the auto-notify when I'm on Elfwood!

I just sent you an email - yes, I did get the ltt pic (still not courageous enough to type it! :))! Thanks again.
About the cormorant pic - my da does fly-fishing, and he has this big suit - you know, the big rubber overalls, connected to the boots? - which he thinks I should borrow so I can get 'some really good pictures of ducks'. Maybe you should get one of those before you get wet. :D
